O-A
"SOS" SUPPORT GROWS AMONG CALIFORNIA CITIES
Thank you! ... to the growing number of California cities who have passed resolutions' as a first
step to setting up voluntary payroll deduction programs for the Save Our Services (SOS) Fund. The
programs allow city employees, on a voluntary basis, to authorize payroll deductions to help build a fund
that can be used by the League to pay for the costs of a statewide ballot measure and other efforts
designed to strengthen constitutional protections for local revenues.
'This growing fund says we're serious about protecting local services ", said League Executive
Director Chris McKenzie. "Now more than ever, as we gear up for another year of working to keep the
state from seizing local resources, we need to prepare to challenge the fiscal status quo which leaves
local services vulnerable to a state government that has no limits.
"My sincere thanks go to all the cities who are contributing to this effort."
BELLFLOWER
BREA
BUELLTON
CALIFORNIA CITY
CATHEDRAL CITY
CHINO HILLS
CITRUS HEIGHTS
CLOVIS
CORNING
CORTE MADERA
DAVIS
DELANO
DUARTE
EMERYVILLE
ESCONDIDO
FONTANA
FORT BRAGG
FORTUNA
FOSTER CITY
FREMONT
GRAND TERRACE
HEMET
HIGHLAND
LAKEWOOD
LARKSPUR
LINCOLN
LOMPOC
MERCED
MILL VALLEY
MORGAN HILL
NEWMAN
NOVATO
OAKLEY
PALM DESERT
PARAMOUNT
PINOLE
POMONA
POWAY
RIVERSIDE
ROHNERT PARK
SAN BERNARDINO
SAN CARLOS
SAN LUIS OBISPO
SAN RAFAEL
SANTA FE SPRINGS
SIGNAL HILL
ST.HELENA
SUSANVILLE
THOUSAND OAKS
TRUCKEE
TULARE
TWENTYNINE PALMS
UNION CITY
WEST SACRAMENTO
WINTERS
YUBA CITY
Additional cities may have passed resolutions.
