AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 23rd day of <br />January, 2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter <br />city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and DPR <br />CONSTRUCTION, INC. ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to start the Historic Courthouse Restoration Project in <br />the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />preconstruction services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform preconstruction and <br />related services described in Exhibits "A" and Attachment "C" hereof, attached hereto <br />and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount based <br />upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the performance of <br />said services. A copy of Consultant's hourly rates for which services hereunder shall be <br />performed are set forth in Consultant's fee schedule marked Exhibit A, Attachments B <br />and D hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />F:Atty~Agr~Agr.094 1 <br />011703 <br /> <br /> <br />
