That pursuant to the provisions of Section 2.76 of <br /> <br />the Code of the City of Redwood City this Council has, on <br /> <br />motion duly made on the affirmative vote of at least five members <br /> <br />of said Council, suspended the requirements of Article VII of <br /> <br />Chapter 2 of said Code relating to the purchase of materials, <br /> <br />equipment and supplies with regard to the purchase hereinafter <br /> <br />authorized. <br /> <br />2. That this Council does hereby authorize the Office of <br /> <br />Procurement, Department of General Services of the State of <br /> <br />california to purchase five (5) police patrol vehicles for and <br /> <br />on behalf of the City of Redwood City pursuant to Section l48l4 <br /> <br />of the California Government Code. <br /> <br />3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to sign and deliver to said Department of General Services all <br /> <br />necessary requests and other documents in connection with the <br /> <br />purchase authorized herein for and on behalf of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
