'c.3~ 7 <br /> <br />ORIGIN.AL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />----------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE EASEMENT FOR SEWER <br />AND DR2\INAGE PURPOSES IN LOT 4, BLOCK 206, "HIGHLANDS <br />OF EME RALD LAKE NO.2" <br /> <br />AUG 17 70 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has advised this council that <br /> <br />the hereinafter described easement is no'longer necessary or needed <br /> <br />for public municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the easement, which is no longer necessary or needed <br /> <br />for public purposes, is a sewer and drainage easement located in <br /> <br />Lot 4, Block 206, "Highlands of Emerald Lake No.2" on that map <br /> <br />filed in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, October <br /> <br />18, 1926, in Volume 14 of Maps at pages 37 and 38~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said easement is unnecessary for present or <br /> <br />prospective public use: and <br /> <br />WflliREAS, Article 5 (commencing at Section 50430) of Chapter <br /> <br />2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code provides <br /> <br />a procedure for the vacation of easements by .local .authorities; <br /> <br />t;.",.. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby declares <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />its intention to abandon the aforesaid described easement for <br /> <br />sewer and drainage purposes pursuant to the aforementioned <br /> <br />Government Co~e provisions. <br /> <br />. - <br /> <br />2. The above mentioned easement which is to be abandoned is <br /> <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />"A portion of Lot 4, Block 206, as sho\.\Tl1 on that <br />certain map entitled "Highlands of Emerald Lake <br />No.2", filed October 18, 1926, in the Office <br />of the Recorder of San Mateo County, California, <br />in Volume 14 of Maps., at pages 37 and 38, being <br />more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />That drain and 'sewer easement 10.00 feet <br />in width, lying westerly of and adjacent to the <br />easterly line of said Lot 4 of said Block 206, and <br />being bounded by the northerly and southerly lines <br />of said lot.1I <br />
