AUG 10 ')0 RESOLUTION EXERCISING OPTION TO EXTEND LEASE OF REAL PROPERTY FOR PARK PURPOSES SITUATE ON HANCOCK STREET BETWEEN CHARTER AND WILLOW STREETS WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City, on the 6th day of August, 1969, entered into a lease with the Estate of Anne Bell Le Blanc for real property comprising approximately 7500 square feet on Hancock Street between Charter Street and Willow Street: and WHEREAS, paragraph 2 (b) of said lease provides for the extension thereof by the City of Redwood city of additional one- year periods: and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to exercise the option granted to the city of Redwood City in said paragraph 2 (b) for the extension of said lease for and during the one year period commencing August 6, 1970, and terminating August 5, 1971: NOW, THEREFORE i BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: l. Pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 2 (b) of that certain lease dated August 6, 1969, by and between the City of Redwood City, and the Estate of Anne Bell Le Blanc entitled II Lease" (form dated 7/23/69), the city of Redwood city hereby exercises its option to extend said lease for an additional successive one-year period commencing August 6, 1970, and term- inating August 5, 1971, and said lease is hereby so extended. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the aforementioned Lessors. * * *
