AUG 10 '70 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N Q. ~f~~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION VACATING AND ABANDONING EASEMENTS FOR SANITARY <br />SEWER AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES IN LANDS SITUATE BE~1EEN <br />BAYSHORE FREEWAY AND VETERANS BOULEVARD IN THE VICINITY <br />OF THE INTERSECTION OF VETERANS BOULEVARD WITH CHESTNUT <br />STREET <br /> <br />I~ - -- ---- ---"- -.--. ---.----,- '--' -.-..--, - ,- -.- -- -- -. - -.---- -- --'--" - <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 (commencing <br /> <br />at ~50430) of Chapter 2, Part 1, Division l, Title 5, of the <br /> <br />Government Code, the Council of the City of Redwood City has, <br /> <br />by its Resolution No. 6344, adopted July 20, 1970, declared its <br /> <br />intention to vacate those certain easements for sanitary sewer <br /> <br />and public utility purposes, located within lands situate between <br /> <br />the Bayshore Freeway and Veterans Boulevard in the vicinity of <br /> <br />the intersection of Veterans Boulevard ~,ith Chestnut Street, and <br /> <br />within a portion of that certain parcel of land described in <br /> <br />--------..:...-.Parcel--.-4--of..-the-deed -to--the' State of California, recorded July 23, <br /> <br />1943, in Book 1064 of Official Records at page 276, Records of <br /> <br />San Mateo County, California, and a portion of those parcels of <br /> <br />land described in Parcels 4, 5 and 6 in the deed to the State <br /> <br />of California, recorded August 5, 1957, in Book 3259 of Official <br /> <br />Records at page 653, Records of San Mateo County, California, <br /> <br />subject to reservation of an easement for public utility purposes <br /> <br />in a portion of the real property affected by said easements~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions, notice of intention <br /> <br />to vacate and abandon the above mentioned sanitary sewer and <br /> <br />public utility easements has been published and posted; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE i <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the city of Redwood City finds that the <br /> <br />hereinafter described easements for sanitary sewer and public <br /> <br />utility purposes are unnecessary for present or prospective <br />
