LAURETTA ROCKWELL <br /> <br />WHEREAS,. the members of this Council were saddened <br />by the untimely death of Mrs. L~uretta Rockwell, and wish to <br />acknowledge upon the records of this City the loss that her <br /> <br />passing has caused~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the life of Mrs. Rockwell was one of dedicated <br /> <br />pUblic service, her energies being directed toward serving <br /> <br />this community in many capacities, as a valued teacher in <br /> <br />our elementary school system, in serving on the Redwood City <br /> <br />Library Board of Trustees, being especially interested in the <br /> <br />work on braille books for the blind, and as an active participant <br />in other church and civic organizations~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, her personal contributions to the welfare of <br /> <br />this community will be remembered and cherished by all~ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE ~ <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That this meeting of the Council of the city of Redwood <br /> <br />City be adjourned in memory of Mrs. Lauretta Rockwell, and <br /> <br />that this Council does hereby express its sincere regrets <br /> <br />. - <br /> <br />on her passing; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That the members of this Council do hereby extend their <br /> <br />condolences to the family of Mrs. Lauretta Rockwell. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />~. d ?/17 <br />
