O. <br /> <br />. RESOLUTION COMMEMORATING THE MEMORY OF <br /> <br />MRS. HELEN WILKINS MYERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the members of this Council were saddened by <br /> <br />the death of Mrs. Helen Wilkins Myers, and wish to acknowledge <br /> <br />upon the records of this city the loss that her passing has <br /> <br />caused; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the. life of Mrs. Myers was one of d,edicated <br /> <br />public service, her energies being directed toward serving this <br /> <br />community in many capacities, as a valued teacher at Sequoia <br /> <br />High School, a leader in the field of education and in serving <br /> <br />on the Redwood City Library Board of Trustees; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, her personal contributions to the welfare of this <br /> <br />community will be remembered and cherished by all; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE ~ <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That this meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />city be adjourned in memory of Mrs. Helen Wilkins Myers, and <br /> <br />that this Council does hereby express its sincere regrets <br /> <br />on her passing; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: <br /> <br />That.. the members of this Council do hereby extend their <br /> <br />condolences to the family of Mrs. Helen Wilkins Myers. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />11;/: ~ r/f <br />
