L' _ _..'U~nl RESOLUTION FINDING CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTY JUL 6 '1() (CAST IRON WATER FITTINGS) SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING SALE THEREOF WHEREAS, that certain personalty, consisting of cast iron water fittings, more particularly described in Exhibit A hereof. attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein is owned by the city of Redwood City; and WHEREAS, this council has received evidence that the hereinabove described property is not needed for present or prospective municipal purposes; and WHEREAS, the city Assessor has appraised said property and determined the current market value thereof; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to sell the above described property in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City at the current market value thereof; NOW, THEREFORE ; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That this council hereby finds and determines that that certain City-owned personalty consisting of cast iron water fittings, and more particularly described in Exhibit A hereof, is not needed for present or future municipal purposes. 2. That the city Clerk be and she is hereby authorized and directed to advertise the aforesaid personalty for sale to the general public in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the charter of the city of Redwood city, to the highest responsible bidder upon sealed bids and at not less than ninety per cent (90%) of the appraised value thereof. * * *
