The bid of PIOMBO CORPORATION, in the total amount of <br />Fifty-three Thousand Fifty-eight and 00/100 Dollars ($53,058.00) , <br />more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br />June 24, 1970 (consisting of Bid Items A-I through A-6, B and C), <br />for the resurfacing of portions of Roosevelt Avenue, from McGarvey <br />Avenue to Alameda de laspulgas; Vera Avenue, from Iris street to <br />Grand street; Valota Road, from Woodside Road to Redwood Avenue; <br />upton street, from Roosevelt Avenue to Vera Avenue; Virginia <br />Avenue, from Redwood Avenue to Massachusetts Avenue1 and Madison <br />Avenue, from Fulton street to El Camino Real; in accordance with <br />plans and specifications entitled "General Specifications and <br />Special provisions for Construction of Access Roads for Water <br />Reservoirs and Street Resurfacing for Fiscal Year 1969-1970 <br />(Phase II), City of Redwood City, California, is hereby accepted <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br />responsible bidder for said bid item for the resurfacing of said <br />streets. <br />3. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br />paragraph 1 and the bid mentioned in paragraph 2 hereof, are <br />hereby rejected. <br />4. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br />that certain agreement entitled "Agreement - Construction of <br />Access Roads for Water Reservoirs," by and between the city of <br />Redwood City and L. C. SMITH COMPANY for the construction of <br />said access roads in accordance with the above mentioned. plans <br />and specifications: and to enter into and execute on behalf of <br /> <br />-2- <br />
