<br />". <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CGM:yc:6/5/70 <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />OHIGIN,AL <br /> <br />Jm\ 8 '10 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N o. 63/4 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR RELOCATION <br />OF UTILITIES UNDERCROSSING IN THE VICINITY OF THE <br />MAPLE STREET CROSSING WITH ROUTE 101 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the state of California has requested the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City to relocate its fire alarm facilities within <br /> <br />the City's utilities undercrossing in the vicinity of the <br /> <br />Maple Street crossing with Route 101 (Bayshore Freeway) to <br /> <br />facilitate the State's freeway construction in that area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council <br /> <br />by and between State and City whereby state agrees to reimburse <br /> <br />City for 100 per cent of City's expenditures incurred for the <br /> <br />relocation of said fire alarm facilities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council <br /> <br />to approve the same and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain utilities agreement entitled "utilities <br /> <br />Agreement No. 112.63.1," by and between the State of California, <br /> <br />Department of Public Works, Division of Highways, and the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk to which copy reference is hereby made <br /> <br />for full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized <br /> <br />and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
