<br />,,- <br /> <br />DES.ek 6/8/70 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />_ "- ;,.. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JUN 8 '10 <br /> <br />RE~OLUT.!.ON <br /> <br />N o. 63/3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LEASE OF LAND AND IMPROVE- <br />MENTS IN VICINITY OF VALOTA ROAD AND COMMUNITY PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6303, adopted May 25, <br /> <br />1970, bids were called for the proposed lease of that certain <br /> <br />City-owned parcel of real property together with improvements <br /> <br />thereon situated in the vicinity of Valota Road and Community <br /> <br />Park, commonly known as 911 Valota Road, Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said call for bids was published in accordance <br /> <br />with law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, DENNIS PECK, Fresno, California, is the highest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for the lease of said premises and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Dennis Peck; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RED\vOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The abovementioned bid of DENNIS PECK in the total <br /> <br />sum of Two Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Dollars ($2,220.00) <br /> <br />for the entire one-year term of said lease of land and improve- <br /> <br />ments at 911 Valota Road, Redwood City, in response to and in <br /> <br />accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions of said <br /> <br />call for bids is hereby accepted and determined to be the <br /> <br />highest responsible bid. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute that certain lease agreement enti tIed II Lease Agreement - <br /> <br />911 Valota Road) approved by the abovementioned Resolution <br /> <br />No. 6303, by and between the City of Redwood City and Dennis Peck. <br /> <br />3.
