<br />" <br /> <br />FyI <br /> <br />, <br /> <br /> <br />REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br /> <br />February 12, 2001 <br /> <br />Subject <br />Automated Irrigation System Phase 1 Final Acceptance <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Accept the completed project entitled "Automated Irrigation System Supply and <br />Installation" and authorize the release of payment in full. <br /> <br />'-.., <br /> <br />Background <br />On August 14, 2000 an Award of Bid was made to Enhanced Technical Services of <br />Pacheco, California in the amount of $49,649.50 for the supply and installation of <br />automated irrigation system components in Red Morton Community Park. The <br />project included installation of 9 irrigation controllers, a weather station, radio and <br />telephone communication hardware and a function check to ensure proper operation <br />of the entire central control system. Also supplied were 3 hand held remote <br />transmitters to be used for operating the irrigation systems when in the field. <br /> <br />.' . <br /> <br />One Contract Change Order was issued in the amount of $926.16 to purchase a <br />telephone modem and hardware that allows communication between the controller <br />located at the Community Activities Building and our in-house desktop computer. <br /> <br />Alternative <br />There is no alternative to the action being requested. <br /> <br />Fiscal Impact <br />Sufficient funds have been encumbered and are available in the Capital Improvement <br />Program budget (357-73733) to provide for the release of funds at this time. <br /> <br /> <br />.t2.
