<br />. <br /> <br />.- <br /> <br />CGM:em 3/16/70 <br />0: ~ ~ C' ~ l\~ l\ U <br />,< t1\ l u t t t}~__. <br /> <br />RES 0 L U 'T ION <br />---------- <br /> <br />N 0.6)37 <br /> <br />f.JAR 16 '70 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTPACT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A <br />PLAY AREA PROJECT FOR NEIGHBORHOOD PAHK 1, RED\'lOOD <br />SHORES SUBDIVISION NO~ l~ FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL <br />INPROVEMEN'r DIsrrRIC'l' NO. 1-64; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF,'CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br />SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />ffi'lliREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6222, the City Clerk <br /> <br />called for bids for the construction of a play area'project for <br /> <br />Neighborhood Park 1, Redwood Shores Subdivision No.1, for <br /> <br />Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk: and <br />~'mEREAS, Bleily & Collishaw,' Inc.., Santa Clara, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said contract to Bleily & <br /> <br />Collishaw, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Bleily &' Colli?haw, Inc., {n the total <br /> <br />lump sum amount of Twelve Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-one <br /> <br />Dollars ($12,991.00) (consisting of the base bid plus Alternates <br /> <br />1, 2, 4 and 5), quoted in Contractor's accepted proposal dated <br /> <br />March 11, 1970, for construction of a play area project 'for <br /> <br />Neighborhood Park 1, Redwood Shores Subdivision No.1, for <br /> <br />Redwood City General Improvement District. No. 1-64, in accordance <br /> <br />with the plans and specifications therefor on file in the office <br /> <br />of the city Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest responsible bidder. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the city of Redwood city <br />
