(p~ 52., <br /> <br />MAll 2 '10 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />ONE HIGH INTENSITY MOBILE LIGHT TOWER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6203, adopted January 26, <br /> <br />1970, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> <br />high intensity mobile light tower, to be used for municipal <br /> <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Electro-Motion Pacific, Inc., Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said high intensity mobile light tower, and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said <br /> <br />Electro-Motion Pacific, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Electro-Motion Pacific, Inc., in the total <br /> <br />net delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Five Thousand <br /> <br />Twenty-four and 25/100 Dollars ($5,024.25), for the furnishing <br /> <br />of one high intensity mobile light tower, in accordance with <br /> <br />the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said bidder <br /> <br />is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. Any informalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> <br />hereof are hereby waived. <br /> <br />3. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> <br />than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
