<br />A <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CGM:yc:2/5/70 <br /> <br />.ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />NO.k2illo <br /> <br />FEB 9 '10 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF ONE <br />ONE-TON CAB AND CHASSIS AND TWO TWO-TON DUMP TRUCKS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. Gall, adopted January 5, <br /> <br />1970, the city Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> <br />l-ton truck cab and chassis and two 2-ton dump trucks, to be <br /> <br />used for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, prindle International, Inc., Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />l-ton truck cab and .~chassis 'and~ two 2-ton dump trucks, and it <br /> <br />is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid <br /> <br />to said Prindl.e International, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of prindle International, Inc., in the total <br /> <br />net delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Fourteen <br /> <br />Thousand Five Hundred Fifty and 22/l00 Dollars ($l4,550.22) for <br /> <br />the furnishing of one I-ton truck cab and chassis and two 2-ton <br /> <br />dump trucks, in accordance with the specifications therefor, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. Any infqrmalities in the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 <br /> <br />hereof are hereby waived. <br /> <br />3. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> <br />than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
