(CCLC). <br /> RECOMMENDATfON <br /> Approve by motion Amendment #4 to the Revocable Permit dated August 17, <br /> 1998 for chiid care services at �he Sandpiper Community Cenfier, and authorize <br /> the City Manager to execute same. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Since 1998, fihe Parks, Recreafiion and Community Services Department has <br /> hefd a revocable permit �rvith the Children's Creative Learning Center, fnc. <br /> (CCLC) for childcare services at the Sandpiper Community Center. CCLC <br /> currently accommodates a program far up to 60 chi[dren from the Redwood <br /> Shores area. As part of the agreement, CCLC has paid a monthfy fee to the City <br /> to cover costs of custodiaf, maintenance, utiiities, etc. for space at the center in <br /> the amount of $48,620.z8 this past year. The revacable permifi alfows fior a 5% <br /> maximum rent increase. The staff has negotiated fihe terms and conditions with <br /> CCLC which will take effect September 1, 2010.
