6.1 J <br /> Page 3 <br /> AMENDIVIENT NO. 4 TC� REVOCABLE PERMIT <br /> FOR CHILDCARE PROVIDER AT SANDPIPER C�JMMUNITY CENTER <br /> {CHILDREN'S CREATIVE L�AR�VING CENTER, INC.j <br /> This permit �"Amendment No. �") is entered into and effective as of#he day <br /> of , 2010, by and between th� City of Redwood City, a charfier city and <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California ("Ci#y"}, and the Children's Creative <br /> Learning Center, fnc. {"Permittee") {coiiectively, th� "Parties"} for providir�g child care <br /> services at the Sandpiper Community Center. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. The Pa�ties previously entered into a permit entitled "Grant ofi Revocable Permit <br /> Child Care Provider at Sandpiper Community Center", dated August 17, 1998 <br /> (the "�riginal Permit"); and ' <br /> B. The Origina! Agreement was previously amended by Arnendment No. 1, dated <br /> July 12, 2005, Amendment No. 2 on June 30, 2008, Amendment No. 3 on <br /> September 14, 2009, and again by this Amendment on August 23, 20�o. The <br /> Original Permit and all previous ame�dr�er�fs �r� collectively referred io herein <br /> as the "4riginal Permit as Amended"; and <br /> C. Permittee continues to rneet the terms and conditions of the Original Permit as <br /> Hmended; and <br /> D, The Permit allows an annual increase in the Monthly Fee by up to five percent <br /> (5%}, and the Monthly Fee was iast increased in 2009 by 5% through <br /> Amendment f�a. 3; and <br /> E. The City desires to increase the Monthly Fee by five percent (5%). <br /> NOIfV, YHEREFQRE, in consideration of the r��ital� and the �nut�al coverants <br /> confiained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Commencing September 1, 2010, Section 8 of the arigina! Perrnit as <br /> Amended, entitled "Mon�hly Fee" will be amended to increase the Monthly Fee by five <br /> percent (5°/a) or Two Hundred and Two Doflars and Fifty-Eight Cents {$202.58}. The <br /> new Monthly Fee will be Four Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-Four and Twenty-Seven <br /> Cents ($4,254.27). <br /> 2.
