<br />'f' . . <br /> DES:yc:12/lS/69 <br />j ORIGINAL <br /> DEe 15 '69 <br /> RES 0 L UTI 0 N N' O. ~/7J-- <br /> ---------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION COMMENDING COMMUNITY PLAY CENTER FOR ITS <br />ACTIVITIES IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Play Center and Mothers' Club, a <br /> <br />California non-profit corporation, is actively engaged in carrying <br /> <br />out a bi-lingual education program for Spanish speaking pre-school <br /> <br />children and their parents: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Play Center maintains two facilities <br /> <br />within the City of Redwood City, and serves such pre-school <br /> <br />children and their parents both within and outside the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to signify its support of the <br /> <br />activities of the Community Play Center, and to endorse said <br /> <br />activities; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNC~L OF: THE';,CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That this Council hereby supports and endorses the <br /> <br />activities of the Community Play Center and Mothers' Club, a <br /> <br />California non-profit corporation, and urges the citizens of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City to support said Community Play Center <br /> <br />both by their financial contributions thereto, and by volunteering <br /> <br />their services to the Community Play Center. <br /> <br />2.
