<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />aforesaid cessation of FHA financing and insurance participation, <br />and for providing the City's representatives with the opportunity <br />to meet in the nation's capitol with representatives of the many <br />Federal agencies involved with the aforesaid cessation. <br />2. That this Council hereby requests Congressman MCCloskey <br />to continue his efforts on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br />in resolving matters which have resulted in the aforesaid <br />cessation of FHA participation, and hereby urges that said <br />participation be recommenced at the earliest practicable date <br />and that such actions as are required to support said recommence- <br />ment be completed within the earliest practicable time. <br />3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed <br />to transmit copies of this resolution to Congressman MCCloskey, <br />Congressman John S. Monagan, Chairman of the Special Studies <br />Subcommittee of the Committee on Government Operations, and to <br />Eugene A. Gulledge, Commissioner of Federal Housing Authority, <br />and Assistant Secretary of Department of Housing and Urban <br />Development. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-2- <br />
