<br />~ ... . . .. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:ll/17/69 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />NfN 11' 'B9 <br /> <br /><0 , too <br /> <br />RES '0 L UTI 0 N <br />----------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES FOR REDWOOD <br />PENINSULA AREA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to provide certain <br /> <br />fire protection services to that portion of the City generally <br /> <br />known as the Redwood peninsula: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the distance of the Redwood peninsula area from <br /> <br />the existing Redwood City fire stations requires that arrangements <br /> <br />be made with the Belmont Fire Protection District to provide <br /> <br />first call services: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared and prepented to <br /> <br />this Council to provide for such first call services subject to <br /> <br />specific reimbursement by the City of Redwood City for the cost <br /> <br />thereof: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Fire Protection Agreement," <br /> <br />by and between the City of Redwood City and the Belmont Fire <br /> <br />Protection District, a copy of which is presently on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk to which copy reference is made <br /> <br />for full particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof, <br /> <br />is hereby approved, and the Mayor and city Manager are hereby <br /> <br />authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf <br /> <br />of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
