' .J. <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. 6t.5"1- <br /> <br />\\~ ~(' '" <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF <br />THREE THREE-WHEEL GASOLINE TRAFFIC VEHICLES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6ll9, adopted October 6, <br /> <br />1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of three <br /> <br />three-wheel gasoline traffic vehicles to be used for municipal <br /> <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equ~pment; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, HU-CAT ELECTRIC CAR COMPANY, Burlingame, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for said equipment; and it is <br /> <br />the desire and intention of this Council to award a contract to <br /> <br />the aforementioned bidder for the designated bid items; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Hu-Cat Electric car Company, in the total <br /> <br />net delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Five Thousand <br /> <br />One Hundred Ninety-three and 30/100 Dollars ($5,l93.30), for <br /> <br />the furnishing of three three-wheel gasoline traffic vehicles, <br /> <br />in accordance with the specifications therefor, is hereby <br /> <br />accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> <br />city for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> <br />than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />3.
