"''-I-~ RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4467 RELATING TO DEPOSITS FOR WATER SERVICE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That paragraph 1 of Resolution No. 4467, adopted November 23, 1964, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, is hereby amended to read as follows: "1. That section 5 of the Rules and Regulations for the Redwood City Water Department, approved December 15, 1947, is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 5. Deposits. The amount of deposit to establish credit required of applicants for water service shall be as follows: "(a) For residence or domestic service within the corporate City limits, requiring not more than one 5/8 inch meter, there shall be deposited with the City Collector the sum of Twenty Dollars ($20.00). For residence or domestic service outside corporate City limits, requiring not more than one 5/8 inch meter, there shall be deposited with the City Collector the sum of Twenty Dollars ($20.00). "(b) For retail businesses, whose primary use of water is for sanitation and property maintenance, there shall be deposited with the City Collector the sum of Ten Dollars ($10.,00) . For restaurants and eating establishments, service stations and garages, hotels and motels, there shall be deposited with the City Collector the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00). For any of the above businesses located outside the corporate City limits, the deposit shall be doubled. "(c) In the event the applicant is also the owner of the real property for which the water service is requested, the provisions of subsections (a) and (b) above shall not apply.
