ORIGINAL o:r 2i" '&I RESOLUT1.0N N O. tift RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS RECEIVED FOR EL CAMINO REAL- JEFFERSON AVENUE WIDENING, CHANNELIZATION AND TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODIFICATION; DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO RETURN ALL SECURITY DEPOSITS TO BIDDERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; AND, AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO READVERTISE FOR BIDS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6065, adopted August 11, 1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the widening, channeliza- tion and traffic signal modification of El Camino Real at Jefferson Avenue; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed with the City Clerk for the construction of said improvements; and WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to reject all of said bids, to authorize and direct the City Clerk to return all security deposits received, and to readvertise for bids for the performance of said work; NOW, THEREFORE i BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLO~vS: 1. Any and all bids received under date of October 15, , 1969, by the City of Redwood City for the widening, channelization and traffic signal modification of El Camino Real at Jefferson Avenue, authorized by Resolution No. 6065, are hereby rejected, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return all security deposits received in connection with said bids to the bidders submitting said bids. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to readvertise for bids for the construction of said improvements, in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor approved by Resolution No. 6065, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain "Notice to Contractors" set forth in said specifica- tions. * * * ..
