'131e RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5951 RELATING TO ROUTES OF TRAVEL, HOURS OF OPERATION, AND RATES OF CHARGE FOR THE MUNICIPAL TRANSIT SYSTEM, AND ESTAB- LISHING THE REQUIREMENT FOR EXACT FARES BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. Paragraph 3 of Resolution No. 5951, adopted April 7, 1969, by the Council of the City of Redwood City is hereby amended to read as follows: II 3. The schedule of rates of charge for use of the Municipal Transit System shall be as follows: II (a) The rate of 25<: per person for each ride shall be charged, except: II (1) There shall be no charge for children 5 years of age and younger; 11(2) The rate of 10<: per person for each ride shall be charged between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. to all school students between the ages of 6 years and 19 years on days when school is in session; and II (3) The rate of 15<: per person for each ride shall be charged to all school students between the ages of 6 years and 19 years on days and during hours when the 10<: rate set forth above is not applicable. "(b) Transfer privileges shall apply to all fares. II (c) The rates set forth herein shall be collected in the exact amount charged, and vehicle operators shall not be required to provide change for users of the system." 2. All provisions of said Resolution No. 5951, except as amended and modified in paragraph 1 hereof, shall remain in full force and effect. 3. The provisions of this resolution, and the amendment herein provided, shall be effective from and after November 1, 1969. * * *
