"/J.a <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />INSTALLATION OF AN ELECTRICAL POWER SYSTEM FOR <br />CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS ON BROADWAY, BETWEEN MAIN <br />STREET AND EL CAMINO REAL; AND AUTHORIZ ING THE CITY <br />CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />plans and specifications for installation of an electrical power <br /> <br />system for Christmas decorations on Broadway~ between Main street <br /> <br />and EI Camino Reali and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br /> <br />signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to <br /> <br />call for bids for the construction of said improvements; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "Broadway Electrical Power <br /> <br />System - Christmas Decorations," and those certain specifications <br /> <br />entitled "General Specifications and Special provisions - Broadway <br /> <br />Electrical Power System - Christmas Decorations," prepared in <br /> <br />the office of the City Engineer and on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Engineer, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the construction of the above mentioned <br /> <br />. improvements, in accordance with the plans and specifications <br /> <br />therefor, said advertisement to be in the form of that certain <br /> <br />notice to contractors set forth in the above mentioned specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1"..,... ~ ...., <br />
