<br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR FURNISHING OF
<br />WATER WORK SUPPLIES
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6093, adopted
<br />
<br />September 8, 1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the
<br />
<br />furnishing of water work supplies to be used for municipal
<br />
<br />purposes; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and
<br />
<br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said supplies;
<br />
<br />and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, WATER WORKS SUPPLY CO., INC., Union City,
<br />
<br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder for Bid Items
<br />
<br />Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 21, 22, 23, 27, 29, 30 and 31; GRINNELL
<br />
<br />COMPANY OF THE PACIFIC, Sun Jose, California, is the lowest
<br />
<br />responsible bidder for Bid Items Nos. 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11,
<br />
<br />12 and 13; UNITED STATES PIPE & FOUNDRY CO., Union City,
<br />
<br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder for Bid Items
<br />
<br />14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 26, 28, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 and
<br />
<br />37; and, GROENIGER & COMPANY, Oakland, California, is the
<br />
<br />lowest responsible bidder for Bid Items Nos. 24 and 25; and
<br />
<br />it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said
<br />
<br />bids to aforementioned bidders for the designated bid items;
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFOREi
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY,
<br />
<br />AS FOLLOWS:
<br />
<br />1. The bid of WATER WORKS SUPPLY CO., INC., in the
<br />
<br />total net delivered price to the City of Redwood City of
<br />
<br />Nine Thousand Four Hundred Twenty and 76/100 Dollars ($9,420.76)
<br />
<br />for the furnishing of water work supplies designated under
<br />
<br />Bid Items Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 21, 22, 23, 27, 29, 30 and 31,
<br />
