"'f) <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF SIX <br />PICKUP TRUCKS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 6072, adopted August 18, <br /> <br /> <br />1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of six <br /> <br />pickup trucks to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the ~urnishing of said equipment; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ~~Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, Redwood City, California, <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />equipment and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to said E-Z Davies Chevrolet; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of E-Z Davies Chevrolet, in the total net <br /> <br />delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Eleven Thousand <br /> <br />Eight Hundred To/~nty-two and 96/100 Dollars ($ll,822.96), for <br /> <br />the furnishing of six one-half ton pickup trucks, in accordance <br /> <br />with the specifications therefor, is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder <br /> <br />for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2. Any and all other bids received by the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City for the furnishing of the above mentioned equipment, other <br /> <br />than the bid mentioned in paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
