I. c.. <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, PROFILES, DETAILED <br />DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND DETERMINING <br />LIQUIDATED DAMAGES <br />OAK KNOLL - CANYON LANE & VICINITY <br />SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That those certain plans, profiles, detailed drawings <br /> <br />and specifications for the improvement of Oak Knoll - Canyon Lane <br /> <br />& Vicinity in the City of Redwood City, entitled "General Speci- <br /> <br />fications and Special Provisions for the Construction of Oak Knoll - <br /> <br />Canyon Lane & Vicinity Sewer Improvement District in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, California, IT relating to said improvements, as prepared <br /> <br />by the engineering firm of Frahm, Edler & Associates and approved <br /> <br />by the City Engineer and Director of Public Works and presented to <br />the City Council on September 22, 1969, be, and they are hereby, <br />approved and ordered filed in the office of the Clerk of said City. <br /> <br />2. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby determines <br /> <br />that if the contractor performing the abovementioned work does not <br /> <br />complete such work within the time limit specified in the contract <br /> <br />therefor or within such further time as this Council shall authorize, <br /> <br />such contractor shall pay to the City liquidated damages in the amount <br /> <br /> <br />of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per day for every working day after the <br /> <br />established completion date, plus the actual cost of inspectors <br /> <br />and engineering costs incurred by the City as a"result of such delay. <br /> <br />Any moneys received by the City on account of such liquidated <br />damages shall be applied as provided in Section 5234.5 of the <br />Streets and Highways Code, State of California. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * <br />
