RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, PROFILES, DETAILED DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND DETERMINING LIQUIDATED DAMAGES OAK KNOLL - CANYON LANE & VICINITY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Redwood City, as follows: 1. That those certain plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications for the improvement of Oak Knoll - Canyon Lane & Vicinity in the City of Redwood City, entitled "General Speci- fications and Special Provisions for the Construction of Oak Knoll - Canyon Lane & Vicinity Sewer Improvement District in the City of Redwood City, California, IT relating to said improvements, as prepared by the engineering firm of Frahm, Edler & Associates and approved by the City Engineer and Director of Public Works and presented to the City Council on September 22, 1969, be, and they are hereby, approved and ordered filed in the office of the Clerk of said City. 2. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby determines that if the contractor performing the abovementioned work does not complete such work within the time limit specified in the contract therefor or within such further time as this Council shall authorize, such contractor shall pay to the City liquidated damages in the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per day for every working day after the established completion date, plus the actual cost of inspectors and engineering costs incurred by the City as a"result of such delay. Any moneys received by the City on account of such liquidated damages shall be applied as provided in Section 5234.5 of the Streets and Highways Code, State of California. * * * * * * * * * *
