<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Improvement DistrictlT on file in the office of the Director of <br />Public Works of the City of Redwood City, all of which assessment <br />parcels are owned by the City of Redwood City and are specifically <br />included in the District, and the assessments levied thereon on <br />the basis of benefits received from said work shall be paid for in <br />cash by the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that certain easements or other <br />interests in the land or improvements have been or must be acquired <br />to. complete the abovementioned work and improvements, and that a <br />total cost for the land and/or improvements is presently estimated <br />to be $1,700.00 including contingencies, legal and engineering <br />costs. Reference is hereby made to that certain map entitled <br />"Acquisition Strip Map, Oak Knoll - Canyon Lane & Vicinity Sewer <br />Improvement District", presently on file in the office of the <br />Director of Public Works and City Engineer of the City of Redwood <br />City, for a further description of the location and extent of said <br />acquisitions. <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that serial bonds to represent the <br />unpaid assessments of $50.00 or more, bearing interest at the rate <br />of seven percent (7%) per annum, will be issued pursuant to the <br />provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911 as embodied in the Streets <br />and Highways Code of the State of California, the last installment <br />of which bonds shall mature fourteen (14) years from the 2nd day <br />of January next succeeding the 1st day of September following their <br />date. Said bonds shall be payable to bearer and shall contain a <br />provision for five percent (5%) prepayment premium on redemption. <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that Monday,. September 22, 1969, at <br />the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the Board of Supervisors Chambers, <br />Hall of Justice and Records, Redwood City, California, is hereby <br />fixed as the time and place when and where any and all persons in- <br />terested may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the City <br />Council should not find and~termine that the public convenience <br />and necessity require the improvements described in and referred to <br />in this resolution, without further compliance with the Special <br />Assessment, Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of <br />1931 of the State of California and now embodied in the Streets <br />and Highways Code of California as Division 4 thereof. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />2. <br />
