HIUthi-\, <br /> <br />RESOLUT1.0N <br /> <br />N o. <br /> <br />hI) 1 t./ <br /> <br />AUG 18 .~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC <br />UTILITIES PURPOSES AND WIRE CLEARANCE PURPOSES IN LOT <br />20, BLOCK 2, "FARM HILL ESTATES NO.1, REDWOOD CITY, <br />CALIFORNIA II <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the city Engineer has advised this Council that <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />the hereinafter described easements are no longer necessary. or <br /> <br />needed for public municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the easements which are no longer necessary or <br /> <br />needed for public purposes are a portion of a public utilities <br /> <br />easement and a portion of a wire clearance easement, both located <br /> <br />in Lot 20, Block 2 "Farm Hill Estates No.1, Redwood City, <br /> <br />california", on .that map filed in the office of the Recorder <br /> <br />of San Mateo County, January. 16, 1962, in Volume 55 of Maps at <br /> <br />pages 39 and 40; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said easements are unnecessary for present or <br /> <br />prospective public use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article 5 (commencing at Section 50430) of Chapter <br /> <br />2, Part 1, Division 1, Title 5, of the Government Code provides <br /> <br />a procedure for the vacation of easements by local authorities; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby declares <br /> <br />its intention to abandon the aforesaid described portions of <br /> <br />easements for public utilities purposes and wire clearance pur- <br /> <br />poses pursuant to the aforementioned Government Code provisions. <br /> <br />2. The abovementioned portions of the easements which are <br /> <br />to be abandoned are described as follows: <br />
