<br />. <br /> <br />eJHT:em <br /> <br />8/11/69 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />----------- <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />6066 <br /> <br />AIJG 11 '69 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF <br />AN AGREEHENT BETWEEN 'rHE s'rATE OF' CALIFORNIA AND THE <br />CITY OF RED\'JOOD CITY, RELATING TO EL CAMINO REAL-JEFFERSON <br />AVENUE WIDENING, CfffiNNELIZATION AND SIGNALIZATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, public safety requires that the El Camino Real- <br /> <br />Jefferson Avenue intersection be widened, channelized and <br /> <br />signalized: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as El Camino Real is a State highway and Jefferson <br /> <br />Avenue is a City street,' the widening, channelization and signal- <br /> <br />ization will be a joint project between the California State <br />Division ~f Highways and the City .of Redwood City: and <br /> <br />~lHEREAS, a cooperative agreement betw~gen the, State of <br /> <br />California and the Ci.ty of Redwood city setting forth the terms <br /> <br />and conditions under which said improvements shall be constructed, <br /> <br />financed, and maintained has been presented to this Council, and <br /> <br />it is the intention and desire of this Countil to approve the same <br /> <br />and authorize its execution: <br /> <br />NOW, ,THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOYlS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreementll by and between <br /> <br />the State of California, acting by and througn its Business and <br /> <br />Transportation Agency, Department of Publ.ic' Works, Division of . <br /> <br />Highways, and the City of Redwood City, a copy of which Agreement <br /> <br />is on' file in the office of .the city Clerk to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms and <br /> <br />conditions thereof, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br /> <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City~ <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
