Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br />for the furnishing of street resurfacing and repair materials, other <br />than the bids mentioned in paragraphs land 2 hereof, are hereby <br />rejected. <br />4. Any informality in the above mentioned bids of Granite Rock <br />Company and Peninsula Building Materials Co. is.. hereby waived. <br /> <br /> <br />5r The city M~nager is hereby authorized and direc~ed to <br /> <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled "Agreement for the Furnishing of <br /> <br /> <br />Asphaltic Emulsions, Fine Aggregates, Asphalt Concrete," by and <br /> <br /> <br />between the city of Redwood city and Granite Rock Company for the <br /> <br /> <br />furnishing of said materials under Bid Items 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 <br /> <br /> <br />in accordance with the specifications therefor: and that certain <br /> <br /> <br />agreement entitled "Agreement for the Furnishing of Crusher-Run Rock <br /> <br /> <br />and Rock Screenings," by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br /> <br />Peninsula Building Materials Co. for the furnishing of said materials <br /> <br /> <br />under Bid Items 3, 4, and 5, in accordance with the specifications <br /> <br /> <br />therefor. Copies of said agreements are presently on file in the <br /> <br /> <br />office of the city Clerk to which reference is hereby made for full <br /> <br /> <br />particulars concerning the terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br /> <br />6. The city Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />return to all unsuccessful bidders, and to the successful bidders <br /> <br /> <br />upon execution by them of contracts for the furnishing of said <br /> <br /> <br />materials, all security guaranteeing execution of the contracts <br /> <br /> <br />upon award. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-2- <br />
