<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />JHT.wb 8/4/69 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />1U14l\9 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N o. 1,~~-7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AGRED1ENT FOR THE LEASING OF REAL <br />PROPERTY FOR PARK PURPOSES IN THE VICINITY OF HANCOCK AND <br />CHARTER STREETS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A ONE YEAR <br />LEASE AGREEMENT, WITH OPTIONS OF RENEWAL, <br /> <br />'-1{HEREAS, James Le Blanc, Administrator of the Estate ~o-f' Anne <br /> <br />Bell Le Blanc, desires to enter into a lease agreement for real <br /> <br />property comprising appro~imately 7500 square feet on Hancock <br /> <br />Street between Charter Stree~ and Willow Street: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has great need for park <br /> <br />facilities in this immediate area: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council an agreement <br /> <br />p~oviding for the leasing of said realty owned by the Estate of <br /> <br />Anne Bell Le Blanc for a term of one year with options of renewal <br /> <br />and termination provisions, with rentals to be one thousand and <br /> <br />no/IOO dollars ($1,000) per annum and amounts representing real <br /> <br />estate taxes attributable to said property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS; this Council finds that the said lease meets the <br /> <br />needs set forth above and conforms to the requirements of the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFOREi <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain lease agreement'naming the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City as lessee, and the Estate of Anne Bell Le Blanc and James <br /> <br />Le Blanc, as Administrator of the Estate of Anne Bell Le Blanc,as <br /> <br />lessor, a copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk <br /> <br />and by this reference incorporated herein, to which copy reference <br /> <br />is hereby made for full particulars concerning the terms and condi- <br /> <br />tions thereof, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />2.
