P-1396 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN <br /> AGREEMENT FOR A SECURITY SERVICE <br /> <br /> (WACKENHUT SECURITY SYSTEMS) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Port of Redwood City requires the performance of <br />security services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to solicitation for proposals for the <br />performance of such services, this Board has determined that the <br />proposal of Wackenhut Security Systems best conforms to the <br />aforesaid solicitation for proposals; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to approve and <br />authorize execution of an agreement with Wackenhut Security <br />Systems for the performance of said services in accordance with <br />the agreement; <br /> <br /> NOW, T~EREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled "Agreement (Security Patrol)" <br />form dated 11/24/92R, by and between the City of Redwood City <br />acting by and through the Board of Port Commissioners of said City <br />and Wackenhut Security Systems providing for the performance of <br />Security Patrol Services 'for the Port of Redwood City, a copy of <br />which agreement is on file in the administrative offices, Port of <br />Redwood City, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br />particulars thereof, is hereby approved and the Port Executive <br />Director (Port Manager) is hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br /> <br />
