. .... fI'< . .:em:6/13/69 ' R E ~ 0 L U T 1. 0 N N O. ~013 ORIGINAL JUN I 6 '00 RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR BOILER REPLACEMENT FOR CITY HALL AND Mi\IN LIBRARY IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5992, adopted May 19, 1969, the City Clerk called for bids on boiler replacement for City Hall and the Main Library: and WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and filed with the City Clerk for the performance of said work: and WHEREAS I BERGIE PLUMBING COIv1.PANY, Redwood Ci ty, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to said BERGIE PLUl~ING COM~M~Y, to waive any informality in the bid of the above mentioned, low bidder, and to reject any and all other bids received for said work; NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The bid of BERGIE PLUMBING COMPP~, in the total amount of Eight Thousand Two Hundred and 00/100 Dollars ($8,200.00), more or less, computed in accordance with bidder's accepted proposal for boiler replacement for City Hall and Main Library, in accordance with the plans and specifications, is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said work. 2. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City for the above mentioned work, other than the bid ment'ioned in paragraph I hereof, are hereby rejected.
