<br />)t. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES:yc:6/9/69 <br /> <br />ORIGI NAL <br /> <br />JUN 9 '~ <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />NO. 6003 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS RECEIVED FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />PARKWAY FENCING, PENINSULA PARKWAY SECTION-l, BRIDGE <br />PARKWAY SECTION-l FOR REDWOOD CITY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT <br />DISTRICT NO. 1-64: AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RETURN <br />ALL SECURITY DEPOSITS TO BIDDERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5976, adopted May 5, <br /> <br />1969, the City Clerk called for bids for the construction of <br /> <br />parkway fencing, Peninsula Parkway Section-I, Bridge Parkway <br /> <br />Section-I, for Redwood City General Improvement No. 1-64: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Manager for the construction of said improve- <br /> <br />mentsi and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />reject all bids received pursuant to said call and to authorize <br /> <br />and direct the City Clerk to return all security deposits received: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Any and all bids received under date of June 4, 1969, <br /> <br />by the City of Redwood City for the construction of parkway fencing, <br /> <br />peninsula Parkway Section-I, Bridge Parkway Section-I, for <br /> <br />Redwood City General Improvement District No. 1-64, authorized <br /> <br />by Resolution No. 5976, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />return all security deposits received in connection with said <br /> <br />bids to the bidders submitting said bids. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
