The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the city of Redwood City <br /> <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled, "Agreement, Redwood City General <br /> <br /> <br />Improvement District No. 1-64, Peninsula parkway - Section 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />Bridge parkway - Section 1" by and between the city of Redvlood <br /> <br /> <br />City and Me GUIRE AND HESTER for the performance of the aforesaid <br /> <br /> <br />work in accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions <br /> <br /> <br />of the above mentioned specifications and contract documents, a <br /> <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br /> <br />to which copy reference lS hereby made for full particulars concerning <br /> <br /> <br />the terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br /> <br />3. Any informality in the above mentioned bid of MC GUIRE AND <br /> <br /> <br />HESTER is hereby waived. <br /> <br /> <br />4. Any and all bids received by the City of Redwood City <br /> <br /> <br />for the above mentioned work, other than the bid mentioned in <br /> <br /> <br />paragraph 1 hereof, are hereby rejected. <br /> <br /> <br />5. The city Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br /> <br />return to the successful bidder upon execution by it of the <br /> <br /> <br />contract for the performance of the work, and to all unsuccess- <br /> <br /> <br />ful bidders, all security guaranteeing execution of the contract <br /> <br /> <br />upon award. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />-2- <br />
