<br />- . <br />? <br />, <br /> <br />I <br />... <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />DES: yc: 4/1/69 <br /> <br />c' <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />N O. .s9S' 3 <br /> <br />1lPR g - <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT FOR FINANCING OF ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES - STRATEGIC CONSOLIDATION SEWERAGE PLAN <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City, San Carlos, and Belmont have hereto- <br /> <br />fore approved the concept of a strategic consolidation sewerage <br /> <br />plan to serve said Cities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Redwood City, by its Resolution No. 5833 (adopted <br />by the Council of the City of Redwood City on November 18, 1968), <br /> <br />and San Carlos, by its Resolution No. 1968-1l7 (adopted by the <br /> <br />Council of the City of San Carlos on November 25, 1968) and <br /> <br />Belmont, by its Resolution No. 3275 (adopted by the Council of <br /> <br />the City of Belmont on November 25, 1968), obligated their res- <br /> <br />pective jurisdictions to share in the cost of sanitary and civil <br /> <br />engineering and consulting services for the preparation of plans <br /> <br />and specifications and for administration of construction of the <br /> <br />lIinitial stage" of said strategic consolidation sewerage plan, <br /> <br />in proportionate amounts stated in said resolutions, not to exceed <br /> <br />a total amount of Two Hundred Thirty-seven Thousand Two Hundred <br /> <br />Dollars ($237,200.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the above mentioned Cities have, by the aforesaid <br /> <br />resolutions, approved the securing of the performance of the <br /> <br />aforesaid engineering services by Jenks and Adamson, a California <br /> <br />corporation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of the Council of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City to approve and authorize the execution <br /> <br />of an agreement by and between the aforesaid Cities providing <br /> <br />for the financing of the aforesaid engineering services; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br />
