'69 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THECIr.I'Y OF <br />REDWOOD CITY FINDING AND DETEm1INING THAT <br />PROTEST TO THE PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF CERTAIN UNINtffiBITED <br />TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS " <br />LAUREL v.lAY ANNEXATION II <br />HAS NOT BEEN ~mnE BY Oh~ERS OF ONE-HALF OF <br />THE VALUE OF PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHIN SUCH J' <br />TERRITORY AS SHO\ill BY THE LAST EQUALIZED <br />ASSESS~lliNT ROLL, NOR BY THE O~~ERS OF ONE- <br />HALF OF THE VALUE OF PUBLICLY OWNED PROPERTY <br />WITHIN SAID TERRITORY AS DETEID1INED BY SAID <br />COUNCIL <br /> <br />J " <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLO~vS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the <br /> <br />2nd <br /> <br />day of December <br /> <br />, 19~, the <br /> <br />Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 5845 <br /> <br />giving notice of, and declaring it~. intention to, initiate upon <br />its own motion the annexation to the City of Redwood City of <br /> <br />that certain territory designated as II <br /> <br />LAUREL WAY <br /> <br />ANNEXATION <br /> <br />": and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and <br /> <br />finds, that the proposal to annex said territory, with ~escrip- <br /> <br />l~ <br /> <br />tion, was filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission and <br /> <br />that said commission has prepared or caused to be prepa~ed a <br /> <br />report on said annexation, and that said commission has approved <br /> <br /> <br />the annexation and its boundaries as required by law; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence <br /> <br />showing, and finds: <br /> <br />(1) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to <br /> <br />and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br /> <br />(2) That on <br /> <br />December 2 <br /> <br />19~, this council did <br /> <br />adopt its Resolution No. <br /> <br />5845 , entitled IIResolution of the <br />
