<br />_...:" .. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />JHT:yc:2/28/69 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br />---------- <br /> <br />NO.~ <br /> <br />"t~, <br />~: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, RELATING TO <br />ALLOCATION OF CITY-COUNTY PROGRAM FUNDS FOR A <br />PORTION OF REDWOOD CITY'S MIDDLEFIELD ROAD WIDENING <br />PROJEcr <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 186.3 of the Streets and Highways Code <br /> <br />authorizes allocation of funds apportioned to the County pursuant <br /> <br />to section 2106 of said Code for construction of routes on the <br /> <br />select system of city streets; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Middlefield Road, Redwood City, is included within <br /> <br />the select system of city streets for City as provided in <br /> <br />Section 186.3 of the Streets and Highways Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the widening of <br /> <br />Middlefield Road from Charter Street to Chestnut Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors has <br /> <br />authorized allocation of One Hundred Fourteen Thousand Eight <br /> <br />Hundred Eight and. 45/100_Doi.1'ars ($114,808.45) of City-County <br /> <br />program funds for the said Middlefield Road widening project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an agreement has been presented to this Council <br /> <br />by and between the County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City setting up the terms for payment and receipt of said moneys; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled "Agreement Between the <br /> <br />County of San Mateo and the City of Redwood City for the <br /> <br />Middlefield Road Improvement Project," by and between the County <br />
