S--9,' <br /> <br />NM 3 '6~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF ONE <br />ELECTRIC FORKLIFT TRUCK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5889, adopted January 27, <br /> <br />1969, the City Clerk. called for bids for the furnishing of one <br /> <br />electric forklift truck to be used for municipal purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call one bid was received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipment: <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, WARNER-YATES COMPANY, San Jose, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to said Warner-Yates Company: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of WARNER-YATES COMPANY, in the total net <br /> <br />delivered price to the city of Redwood City of Seven Thousand <br /> <br />Seven Hundred Two and 80/100 Dollars ($7,702.80) for the fur- <br /> <br />nishing of one electric forklift truck in accordance with the <br /> <br />specifications therefor, is hereby accepted, and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for the <br /> <br />furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
