S~ If <br /> <br />ffB ~~" '(I: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FURNISHING OF <br />TWO FOUR-DOOR SEDAN AUTOMOBILES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5889, adopted January 27, <br /> <br />1969~ the City Clerk cal~ed for bids for the furnishing of two, <br /> <br />latest model, four-door sedan automobiles, to be used for municipal <br /> <br />purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call bids were received and filed <br /> <br />with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said equipmenti and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, E-Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, Redwood City, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said equipment <br /> <br />and it is the intention and desire of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to saidE-Z DAVIES CHEVROLET; <br /> <br />NO\..;r, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOv'lS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of E-Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, in the total net <br /> <br />delivered price to the City of Redwood City of Two Thousand <br /> <br />Three Hundred Two and 62/100 Dollars ($2,302.62) for the furnishing <br /> <br />of one, latest model, four-door sedarr automobile, consisting of <br /> <br />Bid Item Ii and, the bid of E-Z DAVIES CHEVROLET, in the total <br /> <br />net delivered price to the City of Redwood City, of Two Thousand <br /> <br />One Hundred Fifty-nine Dollars ($2,159.00) for the furnishing of <br /> <br />one, latest model, four-door sedan automobile, consisting of <br /> <br /> <br />Bid Item 2, in accordance with the specifications. therefor; are <br /> <br />.' <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is 0ereby declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidd~r for the furnishing of said equipment. <br /> <br />2.
