JET: 1m: 1/28/69 ORIGINAL Ff824 '6'9 RE.e..OLUT1.0N NO.S1/J- RESOLUTION ABANDONING PORTION OF DOUGLAS AVENUE IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9, STREETS AND HIGffivAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA ~VHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3. (commencing at ~8300) of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the Council of the City of Redwood City by its Resolution No. 5886, adopted January 27, 1969, declared its intention to vacate the hereinafter described portion of Douglas Avenue; and WHEREAS, pursuant to said provisions of the Streets and Highways Code, notice of intention to vacate and ,abandon the described portion of the above mentioned street has been pub- lished and posted: and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held and evidence taken: NOW, THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD. CITY, AS FOLLOv'lS: 1. The Council of the City of Redwood City finds that the hereinafter described portion of Douglas Avenue is un- necessary for present or prospective public purposes and hereby orders said portion of Douglas Avenue vacated subject to a reservation of an easement and right of way for public utility purposes as hereinafter described. 2.
