S,I/ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND AMPEX <br />CORPORATION FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN CUL DE SACS <br />- DOUGLAS AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ampex Corporation has requested that a portion of <br /> <br />Douglas Avenue in the City of Redwood City be abandoned (said <br /> <br />portion being shown as that area marked IIportion to be Abandoned" <br /> <br />on Exhibit A of that certain agreement entitled IIAgreement for <br /> <br />Construction of CuI de Sacs - Douglas Avenue," a copy of which <br /> <br />agreement and exhibit are presently on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Clerk, to which copy reference is hereby made for the full <br /> <br />particulars thereof) i and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the abandonment of said portion <br /> <br />of Douglas Avenue, Ampex Corporation has agreed to construct <br /> <br />certain street and cuI de sac improvements subject to certain <br /> <br />terms and conditions more specifically set forth in the above <br /> <br />mentioned agreement: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City desires to accept the <br /> <br />offer of the improvements and real property subject to the terms <br /> <br />and conditions set forth in said agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />approve said agreement and authorize its execution: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain agreement by and between the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City and Ampex Corporation relating to the vacation of a portion <br /> <br />of Douglas Avenue by the City of Redwood City and the construction, <br />
