JHT:yc:2/l4/69 ORIGINAt RES 0 L UTI 0 N ---------- N O. ,~C; () ~ 4~ RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING ROUTES OF TRAVEL, HOURS OF OPERATION AND RATES OF CHARGE FOR THE MUNICIPAL TRANSIT SYSTEM: AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 5672 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The routes of operation of the Municipal Transit system of the City of Redwood city shall be as set forth in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. 2. The hours of operation of the Municipal Transit System of the City of Redwood City shall be from 6:00 o'clock A.M. to 7:00 o'clock P.M. on weekdays and from 9:00 o'clock A.M. to 5:00 o'clock P.M. on Saturdays. Scheduling of the System's buses shall be such as to provide service at approximately one-half hour intervals at each bus stop, except that in the Friendly Acres area there shall be provided an alternate routing at hourly intervals to serve the trailer court area easterly of Bayshore Freeway. 3. The following schedule of rates of charge for use of the Municipal Transit System shall be as follows: (a) The rate of 25~ per person for each ride shall be charged, except: (1) There shall be no charge for children five years of age and younger: and (2) The rate of 10~ per person for each ride shall be charged between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. to all school students between the ages of six years and 19 years on days when school is in session. (3) The rate of l5~ per person for each ride shall be charged to all school students between the ages of six years and 19 years on days and during hours when the 10~ rate set forth above is not applicable. (b) Transfer privileges shall apply to all fares.
