SST 'I c.f <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS, PROFILES, <br />DETAILED DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS, <br />AND DETERMINING LIQUIDATED DAMAGES. <br />BEL AIR WAY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />(; <br /> <br />Oi?IGJfvAL <br /> <br />fEe ] 0 'D19 <br /> <br />RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Redwood City, as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. That those certain plans, profiles, detailed drawings <br /> <br />and specifications for the improvement of Bel Air Way in the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City entitled "Contract Document and Specifica- <br /> <br />tions for the construction of Bel Air Way Improvements, in the <br />City of Redwood City, California" and "Bel Air Way Plan and Pro- <br />file" relating to said improvements, as prepared by the City En- <br /> <br />gineer of Redwood City and presented to the City Council on Feb- <br />ruary 10, 1969, be, and they are hereby approved and ordered filed <br /> <br />in the office of the Clerk of said City. <br /> <br />2. The Council of the City of Redwood City hereby deter- <br /> <br />mines that if the contractor performing the abovementioned work <br /> <br />does not complete such work within the time limit specified in the <br /> <br />contract therefor or within such further time as this Council shall <br /> <br />authorize, such contractor shall pay to the City liquidated damages <br /> <br /> <br />in the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per day for every working <br /> <br /> <br />day after the established completion date, plus the actual cost of <br /> <br />inspectors and engineering costs incurred by the City as a result <br /> <br />of such delay. Any moneys received by the City on account of such <br />liquidated damages shall be applied as provided in Section 5254.5 <br />of the Streets and Highways Code, State of California. <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * <br />
