BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of December' , 19 68, th e Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 5846 giving notice of, and declaring its. intention to, initiate upon its ovm motion the annexation to the City of Redwood City of that certain territory designated as .. EDGE\vOOD ROAD ANNEXATION NO. 1 "i and WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and finds, that the proposal to annex said territory, with descrip- r~ tion, was filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission and that said commission has prepared or caused to be prepared a report on said annexation, and that said commission has approved the annexation and its boundaries as required by lawi arid WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence showing, and finds: (I) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent,to and touches and is contiguous t9 the boundaries of the City of Redwood City; and (2) That on December 2 ~ 19~, this Council did adopt its Resolution No. 5846 , entitled "Resolution of the
