<br />DES.ek 12/13/68 <br /> <br />j <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RE~OLUT..!ON <br /> <br />N O. .s- r.;-~ <br /> <br />;EC 16 -ee <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION OF FIRESTATION BUILDING, STATION NO.4, <br />REDWOOD CITY; AND, AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL <br />FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there have been presented to this Council certain <br /> <br />plans and specifications for the construction of a firestation <br /> <br />building, Station No.4, in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the same and desires to <br /> <br />signify its approval thereof and authorize the City Clerk to <br /> <br />advertise for bids for the construction of said improvements; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. Those certain plans entitled "A Firestation Building - <br /> <br />Station 4 - for the City of Redwood City, to be located at <br /> <br />Jefferson and Highland Avenues, Redwood City," and those certain <br /> <br />specifications entitled "Contract Documents and Specifications, <br /> <br />Construction of a Firestation Building, Station No.4, Redwood <br /> <br />City Fire Department, Redwood City, California,lI prepared by <br /> <br />William E. Sexton, architect, and on file in the office of the <br /> <br />City Engineer, for the construction of a firestation building <br /> <br />at Jefferson and Highland Avenues, Redwood City, are hereby <br /> <br />approved. <br /> <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />call for bids for the construction of said improvements, in <br /> <br />accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, said <br /> <br />advertisement to be in the form of that certain "Notice to <br /> <br />Contractors'l set forth in the above mentioned specifications. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br />
