<br />DES.ek ll/13/r:,C <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />~'.:... . <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />, 1968, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />a municipal corporation of the state of California, hereinafter <br /> <br />referred to as "City," and the REDWOOD CITY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, <br /> <br />hereinafter referred to as "Chamberll; <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />A. City has determined that the public benefit requires <br /> <br />the beautification of public streets during the 1968 Holiday <br /> <br />Season together with certain related activities; and <br /> <br />B. Chamber has agreed to administer certain funds therefor <br /> <br />in conjunction with other funds being provided for the same <br /> <br />purposes; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE I i.t. is hereby agreed as follows: <br /> <br />1. City shall pay Chamber the sum of Four Thousand Dollars <br /> <br />($4,000.00) . Chamber agrees' to hold said funds in trust and <br /> <br />expend them solely for the purpose of promoting the enjoyment of <br /> <br />the public during the Holiday Season by the erection of decorations <br /> <br />and other beautification within the public streets and areas, by <br /> <br />- \ <br />-providing holiday music and by providing for the distribution <br /> <br />of ch~ritable gifts. <br /> <br />2.
